I’m trying to decide between the Babylock Jubliant and the Janome 4120qdc. This is a community specifically for sewing including, but not limited to: machine sewing, embroidery, quilting, hand sewing, tapestry, patchwork, and help/suggestion threads. Compare the latest 3 models from both Brother and Babylock to get a good idea of the features vs the price range you want to pay. The other major difference (in my opinion) is the fact that the Janome machine takes normal memory cards. My heart says Janome TBH but I’m worried about buying on Amazon and if that puts me in a bad place to get repairs. Well, as stated, I could go on forever, but I think I’ve gone on long enough..if you’re looking for an embroidery machine….good luck and try them all out! One of the other problems my Janome has been having for about 2 years now (and it is only 4 years old)…is that when the bobbin runs out..the machine doesn’t alert you right away …like it is supposed to….so it just keeps going on and on..doing nothing…until the upper thread breaks…in fact, as I was typing this, the bobbin thread ran out and kept going and “finished” the design..so the machine reset itself because it thought the design was finished….so now, I have to refill the bobbin and manually push the thread button all the way through the entire design to get to the very end and have the machine finish  those last few hundred stitches!!!!
