McLean settled in Reedsport, Oregon with his family and remained in the community as a respected and loved physician until he retired in 1993. Not bad for a housewife and mother with two boys. Mark joined the Oregon National Guard in April 1974 and served in Cavalry and Headquarters retiring in 1993 as a CW2. Anne started cross-country skiing late in life. He was born in East Beaver, Oregon to Bernard and Pearl Phelps on March 9, 1926. Del will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Karen (née Zegar), his daughters Kristine Freeman and Delyn Cole (Curtis) and step-children Courtney Feldman (Elliott) and Daniel Croak. She spent her younger years 30 miles up the Clackamas River in the small community of Three Lynx, only reached by speeder car. Before World War II, Art worked in Colorado Springs in the telegraph industry. Leonard had a heart of gold and for the past many years he has resided at “Andreea;s Home” where he received exceptional care.Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Helen Gudenschwager, sister and brother–in-law Marcella and Rudolf Westphal. Anne, with Adrian, attended Bethany Baptist Church for 50 years, helping build the church, singing duets together and as part of the choir, teaching Sunday school, and providing leadership for women’s ministries. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 Mike left his earthly life to join his parents in the arms of Jesus. Born and raised in Georgetown Guyana, Reggie had a spirit and sincere kindness like no other. On April 30, 1960 he and Anita Lawrence were married and together had two daughters, Kristi and Debbi. During this time, one of her fellow artistic nurses introduced her to chalk drawing programs, which Clarice eventually developed into a ministry to share the Gospel. She enjoyed bowling, reading true crime stories, country music, watching old western shows and movies, think Gunsmoke and Bonanza. Several nurses who cared for him for a short while before he was hospitalized, cried at his passing.His family and faithful friends are grateful that we were able to walk with him through this journey.
