Minor nitpicks aside, you won’t find a better-looking or feeling fleece jacket, and we think it’s a step up in build quality from the popular Patagonia Better Sweater below. I think it’s a bit less warm than the BS but not by much. Mostly warmth and comfort differences. The Covert has a more modern look (especially last year's model with the vertical seams on the chest) whereas the Better Sweater has a 100% classic easy-on-the-eyes look which can be either the ultimate good look or very boring depending on what you're looking for (and where you live).
